What is FTP & SFTP

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It is a connection oriented protocol used to transfer files from one host to another host over a network (eg, internet). FTP uses the client-server model.STP stands for Secure File Transfer Protocol. A Secure FTP is just like FTP but it sends files over SSH (Secure Shell) which makes the connection encrypted .

What is HTTP, HTTPS, SSL & TLS HTTP is an application layer text-based connectionless protocol used for transferring data over the web. HTTPS is HTTP with encryption.
